  • Can I integrate my current web store with your software?
    Yes, if the technology used to build your store supports XML Web Services, then our SageIntegrator software can be used. Your web store developer will have to program your store to communicate with our Web Services. Your developer can download a free trial of our SDK (Software Development Kit) with all the relevant documentation.

  • What are the benefits in using your web store software to integrate with my Sage system, rather than other shopping basket software?
    We use a shopping basket software system called bvCommerce. This is an award-winning software package which offers most of the features that you are likely to want in your store. If you require additional features, we can program them for you. Because we are familiar with this software, the integration with your Sage system is easier.

  • Does your software only work with Sage 50 or with other versions of Sage?
    Currently our software only interfaces with Sage 50 Accounts.

  • Does your software support inventory and stock control?
    Yes, stock can be auto-allocated by the Sage system so that the web store can reflect up-to-date inventory, less stock allocated to serve outstanding orders.

  • Can Discover IT integrate my current web store with my Sage system?
    Yes, we can do the integration for you, but it depends on the software you have used to build your current store. We specialise in ASP.Net web applications and can help with your current web store only if it uses this technology.

  • How does your Sage Integration software compare with other products?
    Our Sage Integrator software allows your web store to communicate with your Sage Accounting system in "real-time". This means that when a customer places an order in your store, the customer and order details are immediately entered into your Sage system. There are other eCommerce/Sage products on the market which only export the order details to be imported into Sage. They do not work in real-time.

  • How much does a new web store integrated with my Sage system cost?
    This depends very much on the features you require and the number of products in your store. The price for a BVCommerce web store starts at £2,500 + VAT for up to 50 products and the Sage integration will cost £1,950 + VAT.

  • How much does it cost to integrate my current web store with Sage?
    You can purchase the SageIntegrator SDK for £495 + VAT but you will need to get a quote from your store developer for the integration cost.

  • If I purchase your SageIntegrator SDK, what support is available?
    Our software comes with very detailed documentation and the amount of support required will depend very much on the experience level of the developer implementing the software. If more help is required, support incidents can be purchased at
    £125 + VAT per incident
    or
    £495 + VAT for 5 support incidents.
